Before you race
Race-day requirements
Clothing & marshalling
Wear clothing suitable for outdoor racing and marshalling. Closed-toe shoes are required; sandals are not permitted. Follow the meeting’s marshalling procedure and instructions from race control.
Classes
See the WLRC club classes and the information for the event you are entering. WLRC generally follows BRCA 1/10 Electric Circuit class regulations.
Driving etiquette
Respect every driver and the differences in pace and experience. Make overtakes cleanly—faster drivers must not drive through slower cars. Deliberate blocking, reckless driving and complaints about less-experienced drivers are not acceptable. Set the standard, give newcomers and junior racers time to learn, and follow instructions from the Race Director. Penalties may be applied and officials’ decisions are final.
